Bachlorettes, Boas and Bald Eagles...

Last weekend we sent the boys packing and our home was turned into a sorority house. We had 12 girls who came in from all over the country celebrate one of Jill's last weekend as a single lady. It was such a great time, we went to the beach on Saturday followed by a wild night out and a brunch on Sunday. Needless to say Alec and Chase were not here and went to stay at his sisters house Saturday night, which I was a little sad about (first night away from the little guy) but I also looking forward to sleeping...although that was wishful thinking since we went to bed at 3:00am and Alec came back home with Chase at 6:00am and plopped him in bed with me before taking off on the boat for the day. Oh well, some day I will sleep again!!

We all had a great time, Jill (and Maker) looked adorable in her bachlorette get-up, pink feather boa and all! Dance party in the kitchen!!

Sisters...

The boys out crusin for fish...

Tuesday (the really hot day) we had to go the emergency room for Alec who had all kinds of weird symptoms that no one could explain. Dr. Allen wanted him to get checked out and he needed fluids as she thought he may become dehydrated. The ER ran all kinds of tests but think he just had some sort of virus. (I think he just wanted to be in air conditioning, which I actually didn't mind either!) But after laying low for a couple days he is feeling much better. MGH needs him in tip-top shape so he can take part in the clinical trial which is set to start July 25th. He started the screening tests this week with a few more scheduled for next week and so far things look great.

We are enjoying the beautiful weather and thanking God every day for giving us Hope again.

Chase had a rough day at the beach...
A bald eagle we saw while out fishing...God Wink perhaps?

Thank you for the love and prayers,

Heather, Alec, Chase and Millie
